At Rose n’ Thistle Farm, the health of our animals and the families we serve is always our top priority. From pasture to pantry, we take every step to raise food that is not only wholesome but also handled with the utmost care and cleanliness.

Raw Milk Safety
Our once-a-day milking routine ensures our Jersey cow stays healthy and stress-free while producing high-butterfat, nutrient-dense milk. We follow strict milking hygiene practices and thoroughly sanitize all equipment. Each jar is labeled, cooled immediately, and stored safely until pickup. While raw milk carries inherent risks, we believe proper handling and transparency make it a safe and beneficial option for many families.

Meat Processing
All our pork is processed through a USDA-inspected facility that vacuum seals each cut to preserve freshness and quality. We've worked with our processor for years and trust them completely. Chickens are processed on-farm or at a trusted local facility, and we adhere to all best practices to ensure clean, safe handling. Our animals are never given antibiotics or growth hormones.

Animal Wellness
All of our animals are pasture-raised, rotated regularly, and supplemented with high-quality, locally sourced feed. Our pigs are born and raised right here on our farm, ensuring we know their health history from day one. Our chickens enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and bugs, while our dairy cow grazes freely and is treated like family.
